CBC Radio One love.

I threw out my TV last month. Well, actually I put it in a box outside my apartment building with a sign that said free taped to it. It didn't get picked up for 3 days.

It's all on the mighty shoulders of CBC Radio One to keep me entertained and in the loop.

Here's a list of my favorite Monday to Friday shows...

The Current - 8:12 AM
Host Anna Marie Tremonti takes a look a current affairs with voices and views from guest insiders, and experts from around the world to provide context to the events that effect Canadians.
Here you'll find today's sound opposing opinions duking it out in the debate ring.

Q - 10:00 AM
A culture & art show with host Jian Ghomeshi. The program hits on everything from Twitter, to Andy Warhol's Rock Album Art with a slew of guest celebrities, artists, movers and shakers.
Last week Toronto singer/songwriter Andre Ethier preformed a little ditty from his new album with help from our friends Matt McLaren, Jay Anderson, and Chris Sands of Steamboat.

The Point - 2:00 PM
This is the show that follows up on the big issues presented on The Current and, as their website states: The Point is the place where you get to digest that information further, to think about the implications of events and to form the next questions on developing stories. Or if you're a late sleeper, you can skip The Current entirely, and get your breakfast here.

Specials and weekends...

Tapestry - Sunday 2:00 PM

Age Of Persuasion - See website for times.

White Coat, Black Art - Mondays 11:30 AM & Saturdays 4:30 PM
